Desktop computers are the trickiest type of computers to grace technology. However, compared to the technology before, setting this up is far easier. It is just like playing Lego, insert the parts fit.

But to help you out further, here is a guide on the right way to set up your desktop:

Step 1: Know the separate parts of the computer. The monitor, Cpu (where every cable is attached), the mouse, keyboard and the Avr are the basics. If you have other devices such as printer or webcams and speaker, that will be a separate topic.

Step 2: Place the Monitor on the town of your working space. Place the Cpu beside it or below it, whatever floats your boat. You rule the arrangement. At the back of the monitor, there is a cable there with a blue rectangular end. Attach at the corresponding blue slot at the back of the Cpu. Screw the edges considered to make it more secure.

Step 3: Attach the power cable at the black slot found at the upper back of the Cpu. This is the caved-in slot that looks like a pentagon.

Step 4: If you are using Usb mouse and keyboard, they are commonly the ones with rectangular ends), plug it in corresponding Ubs slots commonly at the lower portion of the back of the Cpu. However, if they are circular, attach them to the corresponding circular colors at the upper portion of the Cpu.

Step 6: If you have a headset, you can plug the pink cord to the pink slot. This is the microphone. The green one is for the speaker.

Step 7: Attach one end of the power cord to the Avr. One end of your monitor should also be attached to the Avr. Plug the Avr to a power outlet. Open the Avr and then turn on the power switch of your computer to see if it is running smoothly.
