I hope you're getting a good a vivid picture of this in your mind because I'm about to ask you a question. Have you ever felt like a blind mouse running around chasing after people who, when you did catch them, verbally wounded you and left you mentally and emotionally bleeding?
This is kind of brutal when you think of it, isn't it? Yet this is what we ask our new recruits to do when we send them off, untrained, to eagerly sponsor their family and friends. That doesn't mean that they should never arrival this group of people. This could no ifs ands or buts be their best source of sell sales and company partners. It just means that we shouldn't send them off blind.
As their upline, we are looked upon to be their Mlm mentor. They will probably do whatever we tell them to until they get their tails chopped off and are left by the side of the road bleeding. Here are a few ways we can help our new people not be one of those pathetic blind mice.
1. In the starting can do their presentations for them. By setting up home parties and doing three ways with their list we can take that pressure off of them to bring these people into the business. Those people don't know us and we can look like an specialist in their eyes where man they know well cannot. We can shield our new recruits until they are strong sufficient and smart sufficient to dodge the farmer's wife.
We can also train the new man at the same time. After watching a few presentations, the new man can begin to make part of it. Over time they can take over more and more until finally they are doing the whole presentation successfully. By being there to support them until they have the language and the trust to work without you, you make a much stronger company partner for your business.
2. We can put in order them mentally for a negative outcome. Most people would do whatever to avoid the word "no" They don't like to tell man else no and they don't like to hear it. You know yourself that people will say yes to you when they have no intention of no ifs ands or buts doing what they have said yes to. They just can't bear to say no. But it's fact of life in a network marketing business. Every heavy hitter has learned to let the word no roll off his or her back. They are like Teflon. No doesn't stick.
When your new recruit knows that they will have a high percentage of no's , it's easier to bear. put in order them for the reality of direct selling. For example, if a man expects to hear 95 no's out of every 100 presentations, then that man may eagerly plow straight through 100 presentations to get the 5 yeses.
3. We can teach them methods of conspiratorially interviewing people to find out if they would even make a good candidate for the company before they even issue an invitation to take a look. If a man is satisfied with their life and has no burning desire to do something different, if they are negative or argumentative, or if they have no money to start a business, they are an unlikely candidate. They can be sifted without even knowing it.
As their Mlm mentor you give your new recruit the knowledge and tools to maneuver in the world of direct selling. You help them ensue in production sell sales and getting new distributors by the training and support you give.
