Even though you have caught one mouse, it is always advisable to keep a trap in its place for any weeks after the capture of the first mouse in case there are other mice still in the house. Once the trap is clear for any weeks then it is probably safe to say that there are no more mice in the house. It is best to be safe than sorry when it comes to the safety of you house and home.
