Hit Longer Golf Drives - 3 Steps on How to Get More length in Golf

Want to hit longer drives in golf? It is truly quite simple. There are quite a few different tips out there to help with driving distance, but here are 3 that I use on a quarterly basis.
1. Move the ball up 4 to 6 inches in your stance.
2. Shift your weight smoothly from your back foot to your front foot in your swing.

Most of the time, I would say just stay relaxed and swing without thinking. I know that does not make much sense at all, but it works because the less you think about your swing, the less likely you are going to make mistakes mid swing.
Also, try absorbing the ball up 4 to 6 inches in your stance. The ball should be colse to the inside of your left heel. This helps with ball trajectory. You don't want to sky the ball, but you do want some height to your shot. When you do this, it can truly add 10 yards to your drives.
Now that is just one thing you can do to improve your distance. an additional one selection is to work on shifting your body weight while your swing smoothly. This helps you by using more of your core muscles in the swing and lets your body hit the ball. I know that sounds strange, but the more muscles in your body you use while your swing, the best length you will get.
Also try to Couple on your shoulder turn. Turning your shoulder happens simply while your swing, but if you focus on it, you can generate much more torque in your swing. This results in more of a "whip" to your swing that can generate some serious power.
